Aim of ICI-SDSMT is to disseminate innovative ideas and latest technological know-how. Looking at the present scenario of technological advancement and development in the field of sciences, and engineering and management, it becomes imperative for each one of us to update our knowledge and adapt ourselves to the changing scenario. This era of globalization and modernization, has given us not only a comfortable and luxurious life but has also given rise to various issues and problems pertaining to our environment and existence. This international conference brings together experts, intelligentsia and potential researchers from various fields on a common platform to brood and ponder on the recent innovations and techniques for the sustainable development of humanity.
ICI-SDSMT is pleased to announce 2nd conference which is scheduled to be held on 16 – 17 December 2017 at Mysore. The 2nd ICI-SDSMT 2017 will offer a pathway of quality R&D updates from key experts and will provide an opportunity in bringing the new techniques and horizons that will contribute to innovation & sustainable development in sciences, management & technology. This conference includes a three hour workshop on SPSS for data analysis. This program will facilitate participants to acquire the vital skills by using statistical analysis software package SPSS, which is widely used software in almost all the sectors. For research scholars too it is magical software to aid them in analysing the research data.
Mysore sits in the south Indian plane (often referred as the Deccan plateau) just 140 kms from Bengaluru. This city itself is a major attraction with numerous popular sites like the Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church, Chamundi Hill, Mysore Zoo, SriJayachamarajendra Art Gallery, Rail Museum and so on. There are close to 200 structures in the city with a heritage tag. This is a modern city by any scale, yet conservative traditions are valued. The citizens are proud of its bygone status as the historic capital. The royal traditions still continues, though as ceremonies and festivals. Mysore was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore until 1950, except in the 18th century when Haidar Ali and Tipu Sultan were the defacto rulers for a 40-year period. Mysore state continued to be ruled by Maharaja H.H. Jaya ChamarajaWadiyar till Mysore became part of Indian Republic on 26-1-1950. And now the Mysore city is the headquarters of Mysore District. Mysore city is also known as the 'City of Palaces' and the 'Ivory City'. The famous Chamundi Hill, which is mythological associated with the name of the city, is to its southeast.
Mysore city has become an educational hub because of good weather and cheaper living cost. A large number of students from different parts of India and a few hundreds of students from foreign countries live and study here. Mysore ranks five among Indian cities that attracts foreign students. Students from 52 countries study here for undergraduate and post-graduate courses. Around 1,000 students arrive in Mysore every year for higher studies. Most of the foreign students are from Iran, Afganisthan, China, Maldives and different parts of Africa. Some of the prominent universities like University of Mysore, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University, Karnataka State Music University, and Karnataka State Open University are located in the city. In addition, many eminent colleges like JSS Medical College, Sarada Vilas College, National Institute of Engineering, Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, and so on are housed in the city.
