Nonlinear Ito system of equations has wide application in applied physics. Many authors have found solution of this complex problem by using A domain Decomposition Method (ADM), Reduced Differential Transform Method (RDTM) etc. All of these methods have a drawback as their convergence is quite slow and it requires a very good approximation to converge these schemes in considerable iterations. To overcome this difficulty, Liao has proposed Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) that is quite effective due to the presence of convergence control parameter . It has been shown that for the scheme converges after very little iteration. Analytical solution obtained by HAM has been compared with the exact solution and both are found in good agreement. Computations are performed using the software package MATHEMATICA. This work verifies the validity and the potential of the HAM for the study of nonlinear systems of partial differential equations. In construction sector natural calamities are considered as threat for the structure. During the natural calamities like Earthquake, tsunamis and cyclones, tremendous force hit the structure and damages it. During these hazardous situations the sensors incorporated may be dislocated or sometimes give the corrupted response which in turn may not be adequate to control the vibration of the structure. Therefore, an estimator is necessary to predict the actual response even in the failed condition of sensor. The Robust Proportional Integral Derivative control algorithm with Kalman observer is used to command the controlled voltage to the current driver. This controller uses estimated states of the system instead of measured states. Further the controller output is passed through magneto-rheological(MR) damper which serves as an actuator and plays an important role in mitigating the response of structure. The number of actuators and positioning of it is important in controlling the response of the structure and also in economic consideration. Simulation is conducted to find the optimum positioning of the magneto-rheological damper to predict the control force in controlling the tremor. The simulation is conducted by placing the MR damper in different position and the force predicted by the damper and vibration mitigation of the structure is noted. The result depict that the placement of MR damper in the ground floor is most optimum position to control the tremor of the structure as it predicts the minimum force for mitigating the vibration of the structure.

Tall buildings construction is in high demanding worldwide for many reasons such as the rapid growth in population together with limited space and the more requirements of the business activities to be localized in city centers. This need for buildings to be raised in height requires special lateral resisting systems to obey the provisions of the codes regarding deflection and human comfort. Outrigger system is one of these lateral resisting systems which has lately confirmed its efficiency as an economic system and having well structural advantages to tall buildings. However, the position and the number of the outriggers is still under considerations. Therefore, this research aims to study the effect of the outrigger location on the building' cost. To satisfy this aim, a 35-story building was studied under both seismic and wind loads. The system of the building was taken as a dual system of steel frames and reinforced-concrete core. Then, outriggers in different positions were applied to the building to check the gain in the structural performance and cost through an optimum design. At the end of this work, it was shown that the outrigger can reduce the cost of the building significantly more than 25%.

As Finite element analysis using engineering softwares is increasingly used in modelling of different structures and in analysing their behaviour, an attempt has been made to study the behaviour of isolated reinforced concrete column footing laid on deformable sub-grade and loaded by concentrated load until failure using Finite Element Analysis software ANSYS. Example problems from the experiments carried out in the past by researchers have been selected for the numerical simulation. Three-dimensional geometric modelling of the reinforced concrete footing along with the soil strata has been carried out. Suitable material models for concrete, reinforcement and soil have been chosen for the analysis. Three dimensional finite element analyses of the models have been carried out and load-deflection responses have been obtained. The results obtained from the numerical analyses are then compared with the experimental results and they have been found to be in good agreement.

Demonetization the tool used by the Indian government, to battle the income earned surreptitiously, when it decided to enforce by announcing after the trading hours of Indian equity market on 8th Nov 2016. It has rattled almost all the sectors of the Indian economy and has been viewed as a financial tsunami by the stake holders of the Indian equity market. But the Indian banking sector has been viewed as the biggest beneficiary in this process. Hence, a study has been conducted with the main focus to find out the impact of the demonetization (pre and post) on the returns and volatility of the Indian banking sector. For this purpose, the price behavior of the constituent stocks of bank index, both private sector and public sector, listed in the National stock exchange were taken into account. The data relating to the price behavior of the selected stocks for the period of six months before and after the demonetization process were considered for the study. It was found that the Indian banking industry was able to deliver positive returns even during the post demonetization period. In order to understand the pre and post level of volatility, triggered by the rarest economic event i.e., “Demonetization”, hitting the Indian economy, the study was done by aptly applying the GARCH (1,1) model and was found that the private sector banking stocks were more volatile than the public sector banking stocks and this scenario was found to repeat during the post demonetization period too.

Steganography is the science that communicates secret information in a multimedia file. This paper presents a technique to embed a variable number of secret message bits to audio samples of .wav file format. The method reduces the error introduced during the embedding process. A variable number of bits from 16-bit sound sample of cover file are used for embedding. The 16-bit sound sample is divided into various groups each having a fixed number of bits. The group sizes are defined and hidden at predefined location within the cover file. The lower one or more bits of cover contain the total number of bit groups used to hide the message. The secret message is converted into a stream of bits. A variable number of bits are taken from the stream such that it introduces minimum error and maximum embedding capacity in the cover file. The method allows pre-defining the maximum allowable error that can be introduced due to embedding process.

Corporate governance has emerged as a big issue in corporate sector due to the scams and scandals that are taking place to maintain equilibrium between economic and public goals individually and collectively. The present paper is concerned with the role of Auditors as stake holders in corporate governance process and the importance of each Auditor in detection and prevention of fraud as stakeholder in knowing about the disclosure level in the corporate governance process. The overall conclusion of the paper is that stakeholders primarily auditors should contribute their portion with responsibility as it represents value frame work, ethical frame work, and moral frame work of the present-day global business.
