Objective : Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a common neurological disease deeply linked with the immune-inflammatory disorders whereas the term (multiple) mostly refers to the multi-focal zones of inflammation caused by lymphocytes and macrophages infiltration besides oligodendrocytes death. Accordingly, the dysfunctional immune system able to damage myelin (a pivotal component of the central nervous system) which responsible for communication among neurons. The aim of the present study is to innovate a biochemical relationship between MS and thyroid hormones (THs) by highlighting immunological responses and also to examine the action of Interferon beta (IFNβ) drug on thyroid hormone (THs) and thyroid stimulation hormone (TSH). Materials and methods: Sixty (60) Iraqi women in the age ranged (36-43) years were enrolled in the present study, (30) of them were MS patients and the other (30) were healthy. Anyway, the protocol of the study involved four groups: G1 is a healthy control group, G2 involved untreated MS patients, G3 included the MS patients treated with IFNβ for (6) weeks and G4 composed of the same patients treated with IFNβ for (12) weeks. THs (T4 and T3) and TSH levels were determined in sera of all groups. Results : Data of the present study have reported that T4 level was highly significant increased in sera of G2 compared with G1 while it was significant and highly significant decreased in G3 and G4 respectively compared with G2 , the difference between G4 and G1 and also between G4 and G3 was significant. T3 level was highly significant increased in sera of G2 compared with G1 but it was highly significant decreased in G3 and G4 compared with G2 , the difference between G4 and G1 was non-significant while the difference between G4 and G3 was significant. Conversely , TSH level was highly significant decreased in G2 compared with G1 but it was highly significant increased in G3 and G4 compared with G2 , the difference between G4 and G1 and also between G4 and G3 was highly significant. Conclusions : Interestingly , the present study is the first reporting that MS may be a key risk factor for hyperthyroidism and also the first suggesting that IFNβ regulates THs biosynthesis via novel immuno-neuro-enzymological mechanisms regarding thyroid peroxidase (TPO) and iodothyronine deiodinase 1 (D1), meanwhile the present study indicates that IFNβ has an indirect antioxidant activity. Moreover, the present study provides a definite clarification for the changed NF kappa B level in MS. Remarkably, the present study reveals that IFNβ is more potent on T3 than T4 while it has less action on TSH.

The evolution of a physical system is an area of great importance. However, it’s a challenge for researchers to rightly describe the evolution of a system with time due to the presence of nonlinearity. These phenomena can be described Mathematically by Hamiltonian system of equations. In the old era when computer were not available for computation, the numerical techniques, that involve tedious algebra and lengthy simulations, were also not very useful to dealt with the challenge. Revolution in the symbolic computations fascinates researchers to develop schemes that guarantees the convergence of solution. Due to the large cost associated with the computations, researchers always look for most economical schemes that gives good results. Homotopy Analysis method (HAM), proposed by Liao, is quite advantageous in this regard due to it’s faster convergence. By using the convergence control parameter, the rate of convergence of the scheme can be controlled. We have applied HAM to find the approximate solution of degenerate Hamiltonian system of equations. The evolution of the system with time has been depicted by figures in the paper. A convergence analysis has been performed to find the range of convergence control parameter for which the series solution converges. The most appropriate value of the convergence control parameter is chosen by trial. The results are drawn in form of figures and tables. Our results are found in good agreement with the earlier published work. The error norms are found very small and series converges very fast. All the computations have been performed in Mathematica. It is concluded that the HAM can be used to dealt with highly nonlinear PDEs. Mathematics Subject Classification: 58B05, 55U40, 34A34, 35C10, 34A45.

Using the Reduced Differential Transform Method (RDTM), it is possible to find the exact solutions or better approximate solutions of wide classes of problems in mathematical physics. The coupled KdV equations introduced by Hirota-Satsuma and Modified Camassa-Holm equation introduced by Wazwaz have rich applications in mathematical physics. In this paper, this method is used for solving these nonline-ar equations with given initial conditions containing arbitrary constants. The numerical solutions obtained by RDTM are compared with the exact known solutions by fixing the arbitrary constants. The obtained results show that the solutions obtained by RDTM are in good agree-ment with the exact solutions.

Chronic diseases are one of the leading causes of mortality in the globe. This dramatic health status conducts many researchers to investigate and explore new solutions using the advantages of mobile health technology. For that reason, we propose an adaptive, context-aware and low-cost intelligent solution, providing a real-time alert system and an efficient management of critical cases. This paper stands for a state of art of mobile health proposed solutions managing this kind of diseases. It leads to a new approach in medical mobile application's design based on patient's needs, health professional's concerns, and other solution’s lacks. Our new platform design can be considered as a novel intelligent mobile assistant for chronic diseases.

This work utilizes a State Feedback (SF) control scheme to control two DC Motor (DCM) configurations the Separately Excited DC Motor (SpEDCM) and the Series Excited DC Motor (SrEDCM) with variable speed. The DCM is modeled in MATLAB by applying the acceleration of angular speed and the derivative of current dynamics. Furthermore, modeling of the buck chopper is made in MATLAB and the controlling outcome of DCM speed are produced at distinct set points. The transient indices of the speed of SpEDCM are considered using the Optimal Full SF (OFSF) controller. The optimal parameter set improves speed control of a DCM by reaching the performance that is required for the system. The suggested OFSF controller has a straightforward tuning process and scheme while provides an improved reference tracking in contrast with the conventional proportional-integral (PI) controller.

Learning experiences of English language among nursing students in the classroom is an essential factor to enhance their knowledge during the course of study. Learning experience is a continuous process which the students focus their attention on, how much they study, on their quality of engagement with learning English and also through their feedback. The present research describes the nursing students to enhance their English language knowledge based on their feedback, assignments, distribution of the study, quantity and quality of learning and it will be useful to follow the impact of changes in future. The research conducted in College of Applied Medical Science, King Khalid University. Assessment experience questionnaire were administered to the final year nursing students to elicit the information (AEQ).It contains six scales, each containing six items. The data were analysed and compared with each scale. The finding shows that most of the students have the significant relationship with assignments and learning, quantity and distribution of the study effort, and also says that various task during the class hours make the respondents to get clear instructions and high score.

Bitcoin is the most successful cryptocurrency. It is built on a decentralized, peer-to-peer network with the creation of money and transaction management carried out by the members of the network. Recently, bitcoins have received much attention from the business as well as the research community. Bitcoin price prediction is challenging due to its high volatility. Thus, the prediction of its behavior is essential for financial markets. In literature, there exist some review studies on bitcoin. However, most of these studies focus on the bitcoin security issues, and the characteristics and concepts of bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies in general. However, there is still a lack of review studies that are centered around the bitcoin price prediction models. This paper offers a review of the studies that proposed/implemented bitcoin price prediction based on machine learning models. Specifically, the paper focus on reviewing the studies from four main aspects: the bitcoin features used for prediction, the machine learning algorithms utilized for prediction, the performance metrics used for evaluation, and the datasets used for prediction. Based on this review, existing research gaps are identified and future research directions in the area of bitcoin price prediction are highlighted.

The current article sheds the light on the progress of emotional intelligence as a model and goes on to give a literature review of the same. It traces and discusses different notions and beliefs relating to emotion and cognition and how it embedded in the theory of emotional intelligence. It reveals different models and their contribution to the literature and finally closes with a brief discussion on future improvement of the theory.

In today’s world of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), there have been a number of changes in the way we do business. ICT has changed the way of doing business in many industries, including SMEs that are owned by women. The study is motivated by the fact that information and communication technology has changed the traditional thinking that ICT is difficult for women. Instead ICT has redefined the role of women. Women that use ICT have benefited through its usage. The researcher used a quantitative research design for data analyses. A questionnaire was sent out to 100 SME owners. In the study four factors were identified that would motivate women to use ICT 1) Awareness 2) Relative advantage, 3) motivation and 4) attitude) and it also identified seven challenges that they tend to face when trying to use ICT 1) lack of formal training 2) poor literacy 3) availability of ICT 4) Lack of ICT skills 5) affordability 6) accessibility and 7) poor infrastructure.
