This study is on a recent threat that is considered now far more dangerous than earlier days. Cybercrime is defined by police as the use of any computer network for crime. The Home Office and the SOCA-led Cyber Threat Reduction Board (TRB) use a three-fold categorization, dividing e-crime into:
b) ‘Existing’ crimes that have been transformed in scale or form by their use of the internet. The growth of the internet has allowed these crimes to be carried out on an industrial scale; and
c) use of the internet to facilitate drug dealing, people smuggling and many other ‘traditional’ types of crime.
This broad definition could cover crimes that are facilitated through using the internet as a means of communication. We are concerned that the TRB (Threat Reduction Board) and the ACPO (The Association of Chief Police Officers) definitions could be problematic for law enforcement agencies as they risk referring to all crimes whose perpetrators use the internet to organize themselves as ‘e-crime’.

This article takes place a Comparative Study on Public and Private Sector Banks in Customer Relationship Marketing Strategies and Customer Loyalty impact with special reference to Hyderabad City. Marketing has made a paradigm shift from transactional approach to relational approach. We are living in a globalized world, where competition has become an unavoidable element of business and customers have become scarce. Today, financial institutions can no longer rely on these committed relationships or established marketing techniques to attract and retain customers. As markets break down into heterogeneous segments, a more precisely targeted marketing technique is required, which creates a dialogue with smaller groups of customers and identifies individual needs. This situation coupled with the pressures of competitive and dynamic markets has contributed to the growth of Customer Relationship marketing in the Financial Service Sector. This article was specially studied in Banking Sector how they are offering relationship marketing. And to study, this customer relationship marketing strategies are create any impact in the Hyderabad customer’s mind to create good customer loyalty regarding their selected financial institutions. This study was carried out total of 300 customers. The results of this study clearly revealed that the CRM Strategy directly impact on Customer Loyalty. From the Discriminant analysis, Private Sector Banks maintaining better relationship marketing approaches comparatively Public Sector Banks.
High Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) poses a large hindrance to high data rate OFDM signals. A companding function transforms the probability distribution function (PDF) of the transmitted OFDM signal in a way which reduces the PAPR. In this paper a study of the companding techniques is performed to analyze the PAPR reduction capability and bit error rate (BER) performance of these schemes in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Systems. In this paper, we have considered μ-law companding, Exponential Companding, Trapezoidal Companding and Trigonal Companding for comparison. It has been shown that μ-law companding, Exponential Companding and Trigonal Companding schemes have no flexibility in designing the companding function and therefore a trade-off between BER performance and PAPR reduction capability is not possible to achieve. However, trapezoidal companding scheme has two parameters (a, b) to design the companding function and hence a trade-off between BER performance and PAPR reduction capability can be achieved. BER performance & PAPR reduction capabilities of the scheme under consideration are evaluated & compared through computer simulations. We have also presented an approach to obtain the minimum BER and PAPR of Trapezoidal companding and found out the values of design parameters (a, b) for which Trapezoidal companding scheme have minimum BER and PAPR.
In this paper, we are discussing about E-learning applications. Now a day’s technologies have introduced a new environment among upcoming generation that can be used to improve the learning process. E-learning offers the ability to share material in all kinds of formats such as videos', word documents', slideshow’s, PDFs'. Conducting live online classes (webinars) and communicating with professors via chat and message forum is also an option available to users. Message boards, Social media, Android application and various other means of online communications allow learners to keep in touch and discuss course related matters with professors.
In this paper, we proposed a methodology for sharing of notes among different students. The main aim of developing this application is to collect the teaching tool to help the student to learn in an interactive manner. A new internet study tool gives student the opportunity to take an entire quarter’s notes before the first class starts. Study material is one of the important elements that directly reflect their academic marks. This application will help students to take notes easily, in an efficient way with the help of their smart phones. By the help of this application students can share their class notes with the other students who are willing to purchase them. It will also help in managing and displaying the notes semester wise in a very easy way.

Nonetheless, there are factors that might weaken the organizational performance like employee dissatisfaction caused by monotonous job, work pressure, lower salary, etc. which may cause job absenteeism & thereby increase the risk of employees leaving the organization to join competitors with better work conditions. Each individual is different and hence should be motivated using different strategies.
Internet of Things based village administration system provides smart facilities for the residents of a village. The administrative system is fully automated in order to provide enhanced services for the residents. These services include smart health care, smart pollution control, smart energy management systems, early warning systems, smart agriculture and smart education.
MIMO-OFDM is a key technology being widely used these days for 4G wireless communication systems but it suffers from the critical drawback of high peak-to-average-power-ratio (PAPR). Selected mapping (SLM) is a technique used for PAPR reduction but it requires transmission of side information (SI) along with the input data signal leading to the loss in data rate and increased complexity. In this paper, we propose a technique for PAPR reduction which requires no transmission of side information and therefore preserves the data rate and also provides sufficient reduction in the PAPR. In this technique, SI embedding is performed in form of subcarrier location (index) by increasing its power. Based on simulation results it is shown that the proposed scheme provides the good response in terms of Bit error rate (BER), PAPR reduction and SI detection capability.
A low temperature combustion synthesis technique (CST) is used to synthesize the SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3+ nanophosphor. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) are used to examine the surface morphology and structural properties of as-synthesized nanophosphor. The optical properties are discussed in terms of photoluminescence (PL) and afterglow decay spectra. To study the effects of ultraviolet (UV) light, as-obtained SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor is then exposed with UV light 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 min. and observed that higher PL emission intensity is recorded at 515 nm (green emission) for 25 min. UV-induced nanophosphor. After being irradiated with UV light for maximum time (25 min.), the phosphor emits green long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) suggesting potential applications in many fields.
This research work presents a model of implementation of lean manufacturing for improving productivity and quality, by analyzing data of manufacturing industry. The purpose of this paper is to identify waste related problem, cause of equipment failure, bottleneck problem .The aim is to rectify these problems. The problems are analyzed and effort is also made to reduce rejection, inventory control, waiting time , set time and eliminating non added value time / activities. The complete problem is identified and depicted by value stream mapping. This paper firstly describes the current state of the component, with the help the use of value stream mapping. The waiting time will be eliminated by Kanban (pull system) .These lean tools can be applied in manufacturing industries for reduction of wastage and increasing productivity
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) comprises of large number of sensor nodes by random process. It has become one of the most interesting areas of the modern communication systems. It distributes its function in terms of three categories such as recongnization of nodes, perfroming the task and transmission and reception. As WSNs are mostly deployed in hostile areas, energy conservation and security aspect are vital design parameters for a routing protocol in WSNs. Cluster based protocols are proved to perform better compared to flat routing. Existing routing algorithms can be modified appropriately so that energy metric has to be considered for the route computation. Also some applications of WSNs like military and medical applications need the highest degree of authenticity assured. Thus many research problems can be developed in these areas. This paper focusses on to explore the research gaps in the fields of secure and energy aware data communication in wireless networks with respect to devise algroithm for routing computation, public key cryptography and network efficiency.
Polar codes invented by Arikan are a new class of error correcting linear block codes. The challenge in polar decoding is to provide low computational complexity and reliability in terms of acceptable Bit Error Rate (BER) of 10-4 for real time mobile voice application. In this paper, we introduce a novel hybrid method to select rows of the generator matrix of polar codes in a way that the mutual information helps to decode the code word. With the help of this method, Gauss elimination technique is proposed to obtain systematic sub matrix. In fact, the main objective of this work is to achieve an acceptable level of BER and minimum number of computations through taking advantage of the Gaussian polarization properties of polar codes. The simulation results obtained express that our scheme provides complexity of O(K2*logK). However the penalty paid is in increase of required SNR of 3 dB. Moreover, this scheme enjoys other advantage of seamless integration with the existing LTE systems.
The time domain measures of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) were calculated from Electrocardiograph (ECG) recording of 5 minutes duration obtained from twenty four pulmonary metastasis subjects and thirty controls. The different sites of primary cancer were thymus, synovial sarcoma of thigh, oesophagus, testicle, cervix, gastro-oesophageal junction, sigmoid colon, gall bladder, peritoneum, Non Hodgkin lymphoma, breast, thymus, mandible and thyroid. The present study deals with the function of autonomic nervous system in pulmonary metastases. The obtained HRV indices were subjected to statistical analysis and classifier to test the statistical significance and classification which can serve as an aid for diagnosis of performance status. Based on treatment and gender, HRV indices were obtained. More sympathetic dominance and decrease in parasympathetic activity exists in ECOG 4 as compared to other performance status (PS) but parasympathetic activity increases after the treatment due to vagal nerve activity pre-dominance and males had higher values of measures than females.
Social Networking Sites (SNS) from last decade has gone through an exponential growth in its usage and applications. SNS is making its way to almost every field and in every area, one of them is in the field of academics or learning. Usages of SNS in learning has increased drastically in recent years and in this cyberspace era students are finding easier to interact and share knowledge through SNS, but educational institutes are still far from adopting SNS as an integrated part of their education system. In aim of this, a case study has been conducted at Made Easy (one of the India’s largest coaching institute) using one of the very popular SNS i.e. Facebook. The results of the case study show that SNS could be used as one of the pedagogy tools for improved learning. Further a pictorial view is prepared to create such form of blended learning to implement in Higher Educational Institutes (HEIs). The findings of this study can be useful for bringing awareness of inclusion and implementation of SNS in Educational Institutions.
Usability is an essential aspect to enhance software quality. Many researchers have proposed different usability models, where each model considers a set of usability factors but do not include all the usability aspects and it is hard to integrate these models into current software engineering practices. In this work, we will propose hierarchical software usability model. The proposed model defines the term ‘usability’ using 7 factors and 23 attributes in a hierarchical manner. The usability model has also been implemented and it predicts more accurate usability values. The proposed system is named as fuzzy hierarchical usability model and it can be easily integrated into the current software engineering practices. For verification of proposed model, we have employed a dataset of six-software development life cycle models. For validation, a detailed comparison of proposed model with the existing usability models has been done.

Mainly images are used in many fields such as biometric authentication, military, medical science etc. To maintain the security of images the earlier encryption techniques such as, AES, DES etc. are not suitable for practical application. In this case chaos based encryption techniques are considered good for practical use. It has many unique characteristics such as the sensitive dependence on initial conditions, non-periodicity and control parameters. In last few years, variety of chaos based image encryption algorithms have been proposed to protect image from unauthorized access. User experience is an evolving research area that belongs to conventional usability. Problems in the domain of usability can be supplemented in user experience because of its wider scope. Some related problems are definition, appropriate methods’ selection, framework, modeling and reciprocity between system development and user experience evaluation. Supporting the legacy of a sequence of equivalent research studies, this special issue focuses on the creation of a platform for better understanding of contribution of evaluation feedback to the software development. Seven studies highlighting this special topic from various approach and with different viewpoints are included in this special issue. Further, this special issue must be of concern to usability professionals, Human Computer Interaction’s practitioners and researchers.
Block chain is an open source distributive ledger system in which transaction are done in a peer-to-peer distributive network where non-trusting parties can interact with each other without the need of trusted intermediary in a verifiable manner. With the advent of bit coin, a crypto currency where block chain is used as the core technology for the operation of transaction of bit currency, as block chain uses the concept of public and private key and decentralized database system for the secure transaction, thus it has evolve as the most secure technology for transacting values. This paper provides details about the block chain, how it works and it provides the information about its applications in finance and smart contracts and also it provides why it is different from existing technology.
Now a days security is a high concern at various places like home, bank, office, ATM etc. thus we have amalgamate our proposed system with idiosyncrasy. The proposed system “FRAS- Facial Recognition Alert System ” detects face and recognizes the face of the person standing outside using Pi-Camera. If the detected face does not match the one saved in database then an alert along with image would be sent onto owner’s mail account to verify identity. The proposed system scan through the unique identity (like Aadhar card) of the person to audit their authenticity. Once authenticated, the required action can be taken. Thus, the proposed system FRAS would be a complete solution towards secure system providing security against thefts and other attacks.
The proposed system will help to monitor and locate the position of vehicles inside sanctuary. It can also be used for rescue measures inside sanctuary as there is no other means of communication due to absence of mobile network in dense forest. The level of security is very crucial issue inside sanctuary and the problem of missing and getting trapped in problem is prime concern to the persons involved and affected. There is common problem of going on wrong way or some problem in vehicle. It becomes more severe at morning and night as the wild animal get active at this time. Getting help inside the sanctuary is very big issue as there is no way of communication due to absence of mobile or any other signals. Even it is more crucial to monitor inside dense forest. More than thousands of tourist per day visits a medium size sanctuary due to which it becomes more problematic to monitor each vehicle separately. Existing manual methods fail to provide enough level of security and work done to solve this problem is very minimal. Webcam based monitoring is a technology which is expected to replace traditional monitoring methods. The use of proposed system may provide tourist the peace of mind knowing that they are now more secure and safe inside sanctuary. An algorithm has been developed and result has been found satisfactory.
Generally 70% of the heat produced during combustion in IC engines is lost, out of which 40% is lost through exhaust and the remaining 30% is taken away by the coolant. To utilize this lost heat two Thermoelectric Module in series are used which create three junctions. The center one is in common with both the thermoelectric module which acts as cold end and is in contact with the ambient air. The remaining two ends are in contact with hot coolant (after cooling action) and exhaust respectively which act as hot ends. The above arrangement provides two temperature differences, one between coolant and ambient air and the other between exhaust and ambient air. By using the above arrangement the lost heat from both i.e. from coolant and from exhaust can be used effectively.
The temperature difference between the exhaust and ambient air is sufficient to generate considerable amount of potential difference unlike coolant and ambient air. Hence this research paper focused on increasing the temperature difference between the coolant and ambient air by increasing the temperature of coolant during its cooling action without affecting the efficiency and working of engine so that TEG can be used in series in an effective way.
The result obtained from our calculation makes it clear that by altering certain parameters like density of charge, stroke lengthand thickness of cylinder etc. the aim can be fulfilled.
This research paper presents a finite element simulation of small punch test to determine the test parameters for a material CA-6NM. To estimate the pragmatic remaining life of in-service equipments of thermal, petro-chemical, remnant and nuclear power plants etc, the degraded material properties of these equipments must be specifically known. In this research work, influence of abundant key test parameters is premeditated on flat samples using finite element simulations and their effects are significantly observed. In order to assess the strength of aged material during the service life, Small Punch Test has emerged as a dominant NDT tool of engineers. SPT is carried out for material CA-6 NM (Cromium-Nickle) alloy (used as blade material in steam turbines).The stress-strain curves area recorded for CA-6 NM (Cromium-Nickle) alloy in the temperature range 300-600 0C. As experimentation process in ASTM tests and SPT is laborious and time consuming, finite element simulation of small punch test is carried out to have large number of stress-strain-time-temperature data.

The building’s weight transfers to neighboring columns in the structure, leads to the failure of adjoining members and finally to the failure of partial or whole structure system. In which the collapsing system continually seeks alternative load paths in order to survive. The progressive collapse of reinforced concrete structures is initiated when one or more vertical load carrying members are removed due to man-made or natural hazards. The building’s weight transfers to neighboring columns in the structure, leads to the failure of adjoining members and finally to the failure of partial or whole structure system. In which the collapsing system continually seeks alternative load paths in order to survive. A linear static analysis is worked out using ETABS Software Ver. 15.0 respectively. The demand capacity ratio is assessed in the critical region of the RC portion associated with the column removed, as per the provisions of GSA guidelines.
Islamic Banking is any banking activity done in conformance to the law of Islam (i.e ‘Shariah’). The core principle of Islamic banking is the prohibition of dealing with interest. Albeit being new in the Indian context, the world of Islamic finance has come to stay and hence, India needs to capitalize this opportunity. This viable alternative form of banking, also called Shariah banking, has been flourishing across the globe. As Islamic banking will result in the financial inclusion of the marginalized sections of the society, India would do well to implement the same at least in a phased manner. The paper attempts to examine the impact of demographic variables on the patronage towards Islamic banking in India. It is found that though there is a low level of awareness among the respondents, yet there exists a favorable perception towards Islamic banking especially from the city of Hyderabad.
The computational world has become large and complex. Cloud computing has emerged as a popular computing model in the field of Information Technology. Advancements in cloud computing has resulted in handling of large amount of data and services. In this paper, we present a survey of cloud computing, highlighting its key concepts, architectural, deployment model, security factors and the cloud services. The aim of this paper is to provide a better understanding of the cloud services.
The main objective of the study is to identify the store attributes that have significant effect on highest store preference for customers. The survey was conducted in Hyderabad during August-September 2016 through a structured questionnaire administered on 400 customers of hyper markets selected through non probabilistic convenient sampling method and the analysis is made using SPSS 16.0. The validity was tested through pilot study and reliability found through Cronbach’s alpha (0.978). Most important finding is that the size of regular foot print into a store will not have any effect on highest preference for that store but its significant attributes. Limitation is that the study is confined to twin cities only.
Though identification and analyzing the recent patterns, trend operations in crime analytics is a complex concept, utilizing of existing technologies in real time crime analytic problems in law enforcement is making the process easy. Traditionally, data mining techniques, approaches and methods were used to solve crime activities in real time applications. Those techniques have lack of visibility in hosted services with virtualized networks and were hard in detection of malicious users based on previous operations. So in this paper, we propose to develop Enhanced Classification Time Stamp based Approach (ECTSA) for efficient security considerations with respect to classification and clustering operations in real time network communication with crime analytics. ECTSA is a semi supervised feature selection classification which is based on pattern with cluster by means of feature classification. In addition, ECTSA increases the instances based on the mostly available classifying test cases by transitivity feature with time stamp query relevancy in information retrieval. Our experiment performs ECTSA which is best with traditional data mining classification algorithms.
Supplier selection and evaluation has acquired a strategic decision status in supply chain management due to intense global competition, raised customer expectations. Selection of right suppliers helps industries to achieve higher customer satisfaction thus acquiring greater market share. Supplier selection is considered a Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem which involves many conflicting quantitative and qualitative criteria. In this paper an integrated MCDM methodology has been proposed for supplier selection in Iron and Steel industry. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been applied for weight assignment to criteria and weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) method has been applied for ranking of supplier’s. The proposed methodology has been demonstrated with a help of a case study carried out in Iron and Steel plant located in central zone of India. Results of the present work elicit that the proposed methodology can help decision makers in selecting right suppliers and also reduce the decision making time significantly.
Maglev is the combination of magnetic and levitation. Maglev train uses electromagnets for both propulsion and levitates purpose. The pros of maglev train are the speed which usually ranges between 500-600 km/h and the cons of maglev train is the requirement of continuous supply of electricity. Basically the electricity is further converted into mechanical to support the propulsion phenomena. For that among the various forms of energy wind energy is the best form to use in the present situation. This paper is the study of the idea of generating electricity by using the wind energy created by the speed of the train. The device preferably uses horizontally or vertically mounted helical turbine type rotor attached to electrical generator in order to capture the wind and produce electrical energy. This paper also includes the study of helix angle and working principle of helical turbine.
The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of applications of Big Data in the field of education. Education is one of the first places that we're exposed to the idea of data. Large part of data comes from the performance of students throughout their school year's which is presented as grades. This huge amount of data is difficult to analyze using traditional data management system. HADOOP has emerged as a popular tool for BIG DATA implementation. The paper deals with the overall architecture of HADOOP. Due to its specific nature of Big Data, it is stored in distributed file system architectures. All this data will help to create a customized program for each individual student. We'll look at some hypothetical uses for big data in education as well as some ways that it's being used right now.
Present study reports of synthesis of better yield ZnO nanomaterial by chemi-thermal route and its characterization. Characterization of zinc oxide powder was analyzed by using UV-Visible Spectroscopy, SEM and EDX. The absorption spectrum was found to be at 369nm and its band energy about 3.9 eV. SEM results showed aggregated pebble like morphology with average size about 100 nm at high magnification. EDX results showed the presence of major amount of Zn2+ and O2- elements with respect to ZnO molecule by both weight and atomic percentage. Therefore, this method can be used as an alternative for other chemical synthesis method aimed at various applications.
This paper presents a robust digital watermarking algorithm for video sequence in the application of copyrightprotection . Proposed scheme divide the video into frames.A scene change detector is used to detect the scene changed frame.The discrete wavelet transform is used for embedding the watermark in scene change frame, using the 1 st level decomposition i.e. LL subband.The embedding and extraction process performed using three different wavelets i.e. haar, Daubechiesand biorthogonal. Peak signal to noise ratio, Mean square error, and structural similarity index are computed for testing the quality of video. The proposed scheme is also tested to verify the robustness performance using normalized correlation.Comparative performance analysis using different wavelet reveals that scene–based-watermarking shows high imperceptibility and robustnessunder different attacks with Daubechies wavelet.
The study investigates the thermal performance of Earth air Heat Exchanger (EAHE) for heating and cooling modes under Indian climatic conditions. A 3-dimensional, double precision computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model is developed in Ansys FLUENT v15.0 under steady conditions for three different pipe materials and four different pipe geometries. The pipe geometries considered for the study are round; square; triangle and triangular-corrugated and the pipe materials considered are Aluminium and Steel. This paper aims to find the appropriate pipe geometry and pipe material to obtain optimum temperature variation for thermal comfort. The impact of ambient temperature, mass flow rate, Reynolds Number, Prandtl number and Nussult number were studied. Results show that as the length of the pipe increases the temperature at the outlet decreases during cooling mode and vice versa. The maximum temperature drop observed is 12.05K during cooling mode and 16.65K during heating mode for triangular-corrugated pipe. This was observed by varying the mass flow rate and without considering the pipe material. Whereas Reynolds number decreases with increases in the temperature drop for corrugated pipe irrespective of the modes and pipe material. The maximum temperature drops around 13.62K at Reynolds number 38.664. Furthermore, out of the two different pipe materials the maximum temperature drop was observed for corrugated pipe in case of aluminum pipe material when compared with steel at 2m/s. It can be concluded that corrugated aluminum pipes can be used to get optimum temperature drop for better thermal comfort. Moreover, as the mass flow rate increases, the outlet temperature increases during cooling modes and vice versa during heating mode irrespective of the pipe materials and pipe cross sections.
Medical images transfer important data to the specialist at remote areas about the condition of patient’s via Internet/ open network for the purpose of expert opinion. But information transmission through unsecured channel invokes confidentiality problems for any image information. This issue of confidentiality of medical images is addressed in this paper. The proposed technique applied a hybrid combination of Discrete Cosine (DCT) and M-ary modulation of the original medical image for the embedding of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) watermark. The embedding of EPR watermark using M-ary modulation provides a level of robustness and is important for the avoidance of patient data detachment. Further, Convolution encoder to Viterbi decoder, an error correcting code (ECC) is applied on the binary EPR watermark to further enhance the robustness of the watermarking scheme. Improvement in robustness refers to the reduction in bit error rate, which may come into the wrong diagnosis of medical conditions. The robust performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated for known common processing attacks such as Salt and pepper,Gaussian,JPEG compression and Histogram equalization etc.by varying the watermarking embedding factor and different modalities of medical images. The scheme is found to be robust for embedded watermark at the acceptable visual quality of the watermarked image. Therefore, the hybrid combination of watermarking finds application in transmitting patient’s data over a communication channel.Future works will focus on testing the proposed scheme for JPEG2000 compression.

The aim of this work is to apply bagging which is an Ensemble classifier of trees using CARs which is a new methodology in Associative Classifiers. So far, Association Rules, Fuzzy Association Rules, Frequent Rules have been used for prediction with Tree bagging. But here we have introduced the approach of using CARs for tree ensemble. The results observed are highly appreciable.

Intensity of flood from a catchment is primarily decided by the quantity and nature of runoff produced and the extent of land submergence. The available rainfall statistics of the study area for the critical flood period has been utilized for the estimation of runoff. The catchment is delineated as many sub basins by using Geographical Information System. The purpose of this study is to apply cluster analysis for catchment delineation and SCS CN method for estimation of direct runoff in Mahanadi Reservoir Project Complex consisting Ravishankar Sagar Reservoir, Mooramsilli Reservoir, Dudhawa Reservoir, Sikasar Reservoir and Sondhur Reservoir. SCS CN method depends on the watershed’s soil, hydrologic soil group, cover type, treatment, and hydrologic condition.
The aim of this paper is to develop, analyze and simulate a control strategy through SIR mathematical model for H1N1 with the help of periodic contact rate. Since H1N1 spreads through contact with an infected individual, therefore an effective contact rate has been modelled to minimize the effects of the disease on the society. The effective contact rate, which has been taken as a parameter earlierhas been considered as a function of time for the present study.Numerical simulationsof the model have been performed with the help of fourth-order Runge Kutta method to illustrate our results.With the help of simulation, spread and control of disease has been demonstrated for different values of effective contact rate and action time, which have been found playing crucial role in controlling thespread of the disease, and differences have been displayed with the help of the graphs.
This work aims to develop a future plan which can be used particularly on those areas where either electricity is not available or not reliable, because to run this system low grade energy like Solar energy can be utilized. In the present work Vapour Absorption System is used with two different pairs of Absorbent – Refrigerant combinations, namely Lithium Bromide – Water and Methylamine Sodiumthiocynate, in which Lithium Bromide –Water combination Lithium Bromide is acting as Absorbent and Water is acting as refrigerant whereas in second combination Methylamine is acting as refrigerant and Sodiumthiocynate is acting as Absorbent. Thermodynamic analysis of both the pairs is also carried out by varying the different parameters like generator temperature, evaporator temperature etc. for the present system.
The rheological behaviour of concentrated coal-water mixtures were investigated using standard Rheometer. Coal used in five different Indian thermal power plants was collected. Physical properties of coal-water mixture were varied to establish the rheological behaviour of coal-water mixture. The physical properties of mixture includes solid concentration, ash content of coal, particle size distribution, fraction of coal fines and dispersants. Rheological results show that coal-water mixture exhibits pseudoplastic behaviour at concentrations above 30% by weight. The apparent viscosity varies with the amount of coal in the slurry, fraction of fines, amount of dispersant and particle size distribution. However, it was reduced by addition of 0.5% natural additive and suitable blending of coarser coal particles in a finer fraction i.e. optimum coarse-to-fine ratio. Also for the lower values of distribution modulus, coal samples exhibits lower values of apparent viscosities at same shear rates.
Image and data encryption is an essential part of every communication systems. The end to end privacy and security of data holds utmost importance nowadays. In recent years, many chaotic systems are used for the task of encryption keeping in view their complex behavior. Here, two non-identical systems are used as master and slave system, and encryption is done with the help of the states of these systems. Later, performance evaluation has been carried out with tests like noise analysis, statistical analysis, and differential analysis like NPCR and UACI test. The numerical results establish the efficiency of the proposed scheme in meeting out the privacy and security requirements in data transmission.
The paper represents a technique or methodology to develop a crossbar switch which is of reconfigurable architecture for network processors. The main objective of this paper is to enhance the performance of crossbar and reduce the excess power consumption. The method we proposed to reduce the power consumption at the runtime of crossbar switch is to enable only those link connection of crossbar which are necessary for the circuit or switch to perform and the unnecessary connection link turn off or disable by sending signal. We implemented a parameterized register transfer level design of reconfigurable crossbar switch. In this paper we have shown the result of 4×4 crossbar switch including the VHDL simulation of Reconfigurable Crossbar Switch on Xilinx ISE software tool.
Road accidents are on the rise day by day, and in countries like India where bikes are more prevalent many people die due to carelessness caused in wearing motorcycle helmets. Even though there have been continuous awareness from the government authorities regarding helmets and seat belts a majority of drivers do not heed them. In order to put an end to this misery we have developed the smart helmet for motorcycle, a way to stop starting of vehicles without wearing helmet. This smart bike helmet system has two modules, one on the helmet and another on the bike. These two modules are communicated wirelessly using RF transmitter and receiver with encoder and decoder, AT89S52 is used as CPU.
Brain is the most important, complex and sensitive organ of human body. Brain tumor is life threatening disease, hence early detection of brain tumor plays an important role in treatment. Since Detection of Brain tumor is challenging task , Magnetic Resonance Imaging is helpful in analysis, diagnosis and treatment planning in brain tumor. MRI Images are processed by various preprocessing and post processing methods like Enhancement, Thresholding, Morphological operators, Segmentation etc through image processing tool in MATLAB. Features are extracted from the brain image by Feature Extraction techniques such as Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix, Fast Fourier Transform, Wavelet Transform etc and best feature is selected using any Feature Selection technique like Principal Component Analysis, Sequential Forward Selection, Particle Swarm Optimization etc. Thus important feature are selected for comparison with stored database feature to classify between Normal and Abnormal image using Classifiers such as Artificial Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, Probabilistic Neural Network, K-Nearest Neighbor, Machine Learning etc to detect brain tumor.
In order to take measures in controlling soil erosion it is required to estimate soil loss over area of interest .Soil loss due to soil erosion can be estimated using predictive models such as Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) .The accuracy of these models depends on parameters that are used in equations. One of the most important parameters in equations used in both in models is C factor that represents effects of vegetation and other land covers. The present study was conducted in research station of SHIATS, Allahabad with three crops as soybean, pigeon pea, and green gram. The effect of different crops on cover and management factor in universal soil loss equation in the runoff plots. It is found that, C factor value was higher in pigeon pea as 0.217 compared with green gram and soybean as 0.173 and 0.19 respectively.

The findings corroborates with the existing literature reporting strong relationship of DOI with all the four roles proposed by Dave Ulrich especially with strategic role.

Our aim is to present a comprehensive study of previous attempts at Character Recognition using neural network and Genetic Algorithms (GA) in Pattern Recognition (PR) applications, with a special focus on Marathi handwritten script. We also investigate different feature extraction and classification methods for offline character recognition system.

The proposed MFIS and ANN based EMS is a holistic approach which considered all the important modules require for efficiently managing energy in PHEV. The proposed MFIS and ANN based strategy is implemented in this paper to various driving Cycles and it was observed that the proposed methodology works well for any type of driving cycle irrespective of its length, speed profile and variety of road as well as wind condition acting on the vehicle.

Shall we assume that our society is also growing at the same pace as our economy is growing or there is a gap between the two. If society is progressing at the same pace then it is a very healthy sign, but if there is a mismatch between these two then it would be grave situation since it may widen the gap between the different strata of the society. The question arises that is the Government alone responsible for accelerating the growth of the society or the private players should also participate in social upliftment of the society through their CSR activities. This paper aims to interrogate the process of CSR in selected Indian organisations and their contribution towards the development of the society.
Purpose – Organizational Commitment is one of the most commonly used research subject, but no noteworthy work is done to check the commitment level of private sector banking employees, in order to measure the level of commitment, the data collection instrument was adapted from Organizational Commitment Questionnaires (Meyer & Ellen, 1990 ).ICICI and Kotak Mahindra Banks are very much different in respect of their policies, working culture, objectives and philosophies. The study is conducted to know the commitment levels of the employees working in ICICI and Kotak Mahindra Banks
Design/methodology/approach – The data was collected from 100 employees working in ICICI and Kotak Mahindra Banks through structured questionnaire. The data is analyzed through SPSS.
Findings – Organization problems are my own, Hard to leave, matter of necessity are some of the factors which effect the commitment level of employees. The private sector banks must try to give more attention to some of this factor and it is the responsibility of the manager to safe guard the physical and mental wellbeing of their workers which increases the satisfaction level and commitment level of employees.
Originality/value – The study attempt to measure organizational commitment of employees working in ICICI and Kotak Mahindra Banks in Raipur and Bhilai cities.

On the basis of environmental aspects this analysis is the replacement of Reinforce concrete cement slab with recycles plastic slab.
The analysis is based on the comparison between the Reinforce concrete cement and Recycle plastic slab on the basis of Thermal and Strength parameters as well as the recycle plastic is also favors in terms of light weight, low maintenance cost, Durability and non corrosive in nature.
The thermal heat transfer through the Reinforce concrete cement is 5.81% greater the Recycle plastic slab at the same specimen have less manufacturing cost as compare to the Reinforce concrete cement, and strength of Reinforce concrete cement is slightly greater than the Recycle plastic slab

Now assuming that if financial break ups would not have occurred & allocation of resources would have done according to IS 7272 by taking CPWD rates 2014 then, best result was obtained w.r.t. time-cost for each activity in W.B.S. so for upcoming project which has same specification as actual project already done, new project duration, planning and resource allocation is performed & results are studied. The solar cell modules are generally employed in dusty environments which is the case in tropical countries like India. The dust and particulate matter gets accumulated on the reflecting surface of the module and blocks the incident light from the sun. It reduces the power generation capacity of the module. The power output will be decreased as much as up to 50% if the module is not cleaned for a long time. In order to regularly clean the dust, an automatic cleaning system has been designed, which senses the dust on the solar panel and also cleans the module automatically. This automated system is implemented using AVR microcontroller which controls the DC geared motor. This mechanism consists of a two sensors (LDR and PPM). For cleaning the PV module, a mechanism consists of sliding brushes has been developed. In terms of daily energy generation, the presented automatic-cleaning scheme provides about 30% more energy output when compared to the dust accumulated PV module.

This paper emphasis one such where kinetic energy changes to electrical energy by replacing the traditional speed breakers as vehicle pass over the speed breaker, the spin the rollers which are connected to a DC motor or generator for electricity generation. It is an effective method of producing electricity. Also the cost of development of model is low. The generated power can be used like traffic signal, streetlight and solar panels.
Fiber Reinforced Polymer Cement Concrete (FRPCC) is a relatively modern approach towards the conventional concreting techniques. It possesses excellent strength and durability properties. Looking into the various advantages of Polymer Cement Concrete (PCC) and Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC), an exhaustive literature survey was carried out to study their uses and effect on the various properties of conventional concrete. An attempt has been made to present review on polymer modified concrete dosed with Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) Latex polymer & Low cost Steel fibers. The fibers used in this study are ordinary stapler pins (Kangaro No. 10 - 1M). The objective of this study is to find out the optimum quantities of the steel fibers and SBR polymers in the concrete mix, which is able to achieve the maximum compressive and flexural strength for M30 grade concrete. In PCC, use of two or more fiber in a suitable combination may potentially not only improve the overall property of PCC but may also result in performance synergy.
Aim- This paper aims at analyzing the impact of motivational factors on employees of public and private sector banks in Raipur city.
Design/methodology/approach – Primary Data were collected through structured questionnaire containing 12 questions from public and private sector bank employees in Raipur city. The analysis was done through SPSS version 16.
Research Plan- Primarily, factors effecting motivation was identified through literature review. After then chi square test was performed to identify the significant effect of demographic factor on motivational aspect.
Findings – It has been found that employees were motivated and satisfied by good remuneration, training, good culture, rewards, incentives, correct feedback, job security, performance appraisal process etc. Also, it was also found that age and working conditions of the bank are independent in context to motivational level.
Practical implications – Motivational Factors of employees of various designation differs across culture to culture & also it varies by employee skill and type of work, so same study may vary.
Originality– The paper has a specific rationale and is an industry & region specific study. The findings of this study can be used for further research.
The main objective of this study is to investigate the use of waste fiber materials in geotechnical applications and to evaluate the effects of waste polypropylene fibers on shear strength of unsaturated soil by carrying out direct shear tests and unconfined compression tests on two different soil samples. The results obtained are compared for the two samples and inferences are drawn towards the usability and effectiveness of fiber reinforcement as a replacement for deep foundation or raft foundation, as a cost effective approach.

OFDM is implemented in broadband wireless access systems because as the way to beat wireless channel impairments and to reinforce potential speed for transmission. QAM modulation technique has been used to evaluate the performance of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems using multiple transmit diversity antenna system within the attenuation and fading channel. Simultaneously the graph between SNR and BER has been premeditated plotted for QAM for multiple transmits and receive antenna for MIMO-OFDM system by considering the result of channel parameter in Multipath fading channel.
Hydroponic is a word which expounds flowing water. The hydroponic is a process of growing the plants without using soil and in the medium of flowing water. The essential nutrients required by the plants is supplied directly into the flowing water which would be passing through the roots of the plants suspended in the medium and the roots will embrace the nutrients to nourish themselves. This technique of growing the plants result in best quality of organic plants and also add an advantage for recycling and optimum usage of water. The water being circulated to the roots would maintain the desired oxygen level and thus results in commendable growth of plant. To illustrate this technology experimentally three plants were grown namely Red verdure, Fenugreek leaves and Basil by the technique of hydroponics and the results are concluded on the basis of height of plant , quality of plants and the comparative study of the consumptive use of the water used by the plants.
In today’s changing scenario Irregularities are become an unavoidable feature in construction of RC buildings; however, the behavior of structures with these irregularities during earthquake needs to be studied. Past earthquakes shown that Irregular structure vertical irregularities were one of the major reason of failure of structure. A detailed study of structural behavior of the buildings with vertical irregularities is essential for design and behavior in earthquake. The irregularity in the building structures may be due to irregular distributions in their mass, strength and stiffness along the height of building. When such buildings are constructed in high seismic zones, the analysis and design becomes more complicated. The main objective of this study is to understand behavior of vertically irregular structure. The irregularities considered are 1) mass irregularity 2) stiffness irregularity. In this paper response of G+8 storied frame is studied for seismic forces The main objective of this study is to understand behavior of vertically irregular structure mainly mass and stiffness irregular structure when subjected to earthquake forces then it is further tried to compare these two types of vertical irregularity and to comment which is the critical out of the two. For this in G+8 regular frame results are compared with introducing mass and stiffness irregularity in frame 2 & 3 respectively at the same level. Response parameters like storey shear, storey drift, displacement, Bending moment and torsion are studied for linear static and dynamic analysis. The soft computing tool and commercial software CSI-ETABS (version 9.7) is used for analysis
At present, keyboarding remains the peak common way of inputting information into computers. In this paper we designed an algorithm which takes scanned document as input then analysis the document, reorganization the characters using trained database methodology and then after contextual processing is performed. It changes the scanned document into machine-encoded text so that it can be used for machine transformation. In this paper we used OCR as user interface and with the help of this a user can very easily add or modify the segmentation done by the OCR system. Finally we store the out in a word format for handwritten document. This technique will be helpful for those people who want to save their handwritten document in a word file for future use.

Our system modifies existing designs and discusses the role of technologies in these industry transformations.A medicine dispenser is a machine which dispenses medicine strips to the consumer automatically after the consumer tap the button associated with the prescribed medicine type and quantity. The machine has been implemented on the Arduino microcontroller board.This paper aims to design medicine dispenser and it compares different aspects like timing, efficiency and device utilization of the machine. This new system indicates a future possibility of betterment over existing vending machine models.

The simple code words sent through a trusted device to the lost device will help you find it. You can change the phone profile from silent and vibration to general and can get the location of your lost mobile by using this application. This application has different modules, which are-profile or mode controller, finding misplaced or lost mobile phones, whitelist to maintain trusted device mobile numbers and a friend who is a trusted user whose number exists as an entry in whitelist with the help of which codes can be sent to find the location of the device. Also the paper indicates a future possibility of betterment over existing model.
The main objective of this research is to study the feasibility, outcome and relevance of vocational education and training programme in light of human capital development among the residents of Chhattisgarh. Secondary data collection method was adopted to review the literature to identify various variables and their antecedents, whereas primary data collection method was adopted to collect first-hand information from 305 respondents regarding variables to analyze their impact on each other. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS-19) was used to facilitate the analysis. Validity of the instrument and the data was checked through exploratory factor analysis and reliability was checked through Cronbach’s coefficient alpha. Correlation coefficient was used to identify the relationship between the variables, regression analysis was used to find the impact of independent variables on dependent variables, whereas mean values of the data for each variable was also assessed. The finding of the study depicts that the nine research hypotheses are accepted out of ten with the help of this study, which will further help to understand and redefine an effective construct of VET programme.
Synthesis and ion conduction studies of a new K+ ion conducting nano-composite polymer electrolytes (NCPEs): (1-x) [80PEO:20KI] + x TiO2 where 0 < x < 20 wt. %, are reported. NCPEs were cast using a recently developed hot-press method in place of traditional solution-cast technique. Two and half orders of conductivity enhancement were found in NCPEs after the dispersion of TiO2 inert material in the polymeric host, from the room temperature conductivity measurement. The ion conduction phenomenon have been explained with the help of some basic ionic parameters viz. ionic conductivity (σ), ionic mobility (μ), mobile ion concentration (n) values and various theoretical models. The ionic transference number (tion) of optimum conducting composition of NCPE was also determined with the help of Transient Ionic Current (TIC) technique.
A simple and sensitive analytical spectrophotometric method is developed for the determination of CFC -12. The method is based on the action of CFC - 12 with alkaline pyridine and condensation of the resulting glutaconic aldehyde followed by coupling with p- aminoacetophenone reagent. The orange-red dye formed has maximum absorbance at 475nm and Beer’s law is obeyed in the concentration range of 0.4 to 4.2 μg mL?1 for CFC - 12. The molar absorptivity and Sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 3.1X 104 L mol-1cm-1 and 0.008 µg cm-2, respectively. Standard deviation, relative standard deviation, stability of colour (h) and correlation coefficient have been calculated. The developed method is successfully applied to the determination of CFC-12 in different environmental samples.
Kinetics of Ruthenium(III) catalysis in oxidation of ethylene glycol(EG) by alkaline solution of N-bromoacetamide have been studied in the temperature range of 30°C to 45°C using mercuric acetate as Br-- ions scavenger. The reaction follows zero order in [Glycerol] and first order with respect to both [Ru(III)] and [NBA]. Negligible effect of variation of both [OH-] and [Cl-] has been observed. A negative effect of acetamide is observed while mercuric acetate addition shows first order on the reaction velocity which shows that probably mercury(II) acts as co-catalyst. Variation of ionic strength of the medium shows insignificant effect. Various activation parameters have been computed and a suitable mechanism conforming to the observed kinetic data is proposed and discussed.

A widely used carbamate insecticide carbofuran is determined by simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method. The method is grounded on hydrolysis of carbofuran under alkaline condition to carbofuranphenol followed by coupling with J-acid. The colored dyes formed give absorption maxima at 460 nm. Beer’s law is conformed at the concentration range of 0.4 to 3.2 µg in a final solution volume of 25 ml and extracted from iso propyl alcohol. The molar absorptivity and sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 1.2x104 (±100) l mole-1cm-1 and 0.005 µg cm-2 respectively. The standard deviation and relative standard deviation were found to be ± 0.004 and 1.06% respectively. The method is free from interference of other pesticides and diverse ions, simple, sensitive and acceptable for the determination of carbofuran in different ecological, agricultural and biological samples.

It is the tradition bound Indian society which decides her social roles, responsibilities and duties as a mother, daughter, sister, wife, and daughter-in-law and assigns to her a status and identity. In the present scenario, family does not provide recognition to the traits of a woman, affirmation to her mind-set and appreciation to her multi-dimensional roles. The Alkaline earth sulfide phosphors doped with Dy3+ or Ce3+ are good candidates for wavelength conversion in LEDs for general lighting applications. XRD, FESEM, HRTEM, SAED and EDX characterized the samples. The percentage of doping material is confirmed from the EDX spectra. The average crystal size of the prepared SrS nanopowder is determined by XRD. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of SrS phosphors doped with trivalent Dy3+ ions were studied. PL emission for SrS: Dy3+ shows a peak at 481 nm, 580 nm and 675 nm at an excitation wavelength of 331 nm, which is yellow bands in Dy3+ ions show that phosphor may be applicable for white light emitting diodes LEDs.
In a proxy multi-signature scheme (PMSS), more than one actual signers cooperate each other to transfer their signing authority to a particular person named as proxy(delegated) signer. In this paper a PMSS is proposed, incorporate functionality of message recovery and verifiable self-certified public keys (SCPK). In our scheme, the delegated signer generates an authentic and valid proxy multi-signature (PMS ) for plural actual signers. The verifier can verify signature and simultaneously recover message from the signature. One of the advantages of proposed scheme is that problem of non-repudiation is eliminated by the use of verifiable SCPK. All the three tasks of public key validation, proxy signature validation , and recovery of message are performed in one stroke. The security of our PMSS rests upon discrete log problem (DLP). The discussion regarding security of our scheme demonstrate that how the active attacks fail against security of our PMSS. This scheme is applicable for short messages only.
This paper reports the result of a experimental investigation carried out to study the effect of Fly Ash, Silica Fume and PVA Fibre on workability and strength development of mortar and the optimum use of fly ash and silica fume in mortar. Cement and sand partially replaced with tow percentage (30%, 35% fly ash and 10%. 15% silica fume) by weight. OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) mortar was also prepared as a control mix. Compressive strength of different mortar with varying W/C ratio were determine at 3, 78 and 28 days.
The existing digital signature schemes with message recovery were developed without using one way hash function, most of them are either insecure or less efficient for practical use. Chang et al. proposed a new digital signature scheme, and claimed the scheme without using any hash function can resist forgery attacks. However, many attacks on Chang et al.'s scheme were presented. Kang et al. also gave an effective improvement to resist these forgery attacks. Liu and Li gives improvement over kang's signature scheme by shorten the signature. They maintain the same level of security, but provide the signature scheme having more efficiency in computation and communication. In this paper, an attempt to be made to improve signature scheme given by Liu and Li. To reduce the computation load in signature generation as well as in signature verification phase, the arbitrary message m, is not used as an exponent like in the other signature scheme with message recovery, this will result the signatures generated are short in length. Security of the proposed signature scheme is based on the difficulty of solving the discrete logarithm problem (DLP). Our improvement maintain the security level of Liu and Li scheme and makes it more efficient regarding computation as well as security. The proposed scheme does not use message redundancy and is suitable to provide signature on long messages.

The engineers today are facing the challenge of not only providing the comfortable working and living conditions to the society, but also to take care of the conservation of environment. This pursuit of engineers has resulted in identification and development of a cluster of technologies which are not only in favour of conservation of environment but also ensure usage of non-conventional energy sources in an efficient manner.

The feasibility of the system in central Indian climatic condition (Raipur,C.G.) has been calculated with the help of Geographical and climatic condition of Raipur city. As per the climatic data Raipur has Hot and Dry type condition, the temperature is moderate throughout the year except in summer from March to June at this condition the building required cooling approximately six to seven month in a year.
A study is carried out in the Nagar Nigam office; Raipur (C.G.) for the Auditorium has a condition volume 1491 m3required 5×5 TR of HVAC system for cooling purpose. This Ground source heat pump reduces the 2.5 TR of HVAC system according to this reduction the GSHP system. With annual saving of 1366.4 kWh of electricity and annul saving in Rs. is 8191.
The present study examines the behavior of fiber reinforced concrete when exposed to flexural loading by varying the type and percentage of fiber in the designated M-25 concrete mix design. The designated M-25 concrete mix was designed using the IS 10262 (2009) and types of fiber used were 6mm chopped polyester and glass fiber. After conducting several lab tests it was found that the flexural strength of concrete was increased by marginal 10 % by using the fibers mentioned. This type of concrete can be used not only to withstand compressive load but it can take nominal amount of tensile load also. In conventional concrete, micro-cracks develop before structure is loaded because of drying shrinkage and other causes of volume change. When the structure is loaded, the micro cracks open up and propagate because of development of such micro-cracks, results in inelastic deformation in concrete. Fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) is cementing concrete reinforced mixture with more or less randomly distributed small fibres. In the FRC, a numbers of small fibres are dispersed and distributed randomly in the concrete at the time of mixing, and thus improve concrete properties in all directions. The fibers help to transfer load to the internal micro cracks. FRC is cement based composite material that has been developed in recent years.

Now industries are emphasizing on green criteria for supplier selection. In this work a strategic frame work has been proposed for green supplier selection for decision makers. In the proposed work green criteria has been identified and Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) for weight assignment to criteria. Range of Values (ROV) Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method has been further utilized for assessment of potential suppliers and final rank assignment for selection and contract allocation. Effectiveness of the proposed methodology has been demonstrated with the help of a numerical example.

Today world is facing major environmental challenges i.e. global warming, Ozone layer depletion, climate change, waste accumulation, resource depletion etc. Buildings are largely contributing towards environmental burdens either directly or indirectly in its life cycle. Over 50% of material resources taken from nature are building related. Over 50% of national waste production comes from the building sector. Construction sector in India emits about 22% of the total annual emission of CO2 resulting from the Indian economy. Out of the emissions from the construction sector, 80% are resulting mainly from the products/industrial processes of energy intensive building materials. Buildings also consume large quantities of energy in their operation. Energy use in buildings has grown in the last 20 years due to sheer increases in number of households and offices has increased service demand like more air conditioning, more computers, more appliances etc is significantly contributing towards increasing energy demand Hence in view of the emerging environmental concerns in the building sector, buildings cannot be treated as a low impact sector and it becomes extremely important matter to develop a holistic environmental impact assessment methodology for assessment of sustainability and greenness of buildings in India. An analysis of Khadi and Village Industrial sector in Chhattisgarh State is the prime objective of the study, specifically focusing on the role of these industries in the economic development of the state.This study undertook the evaluation of the performance, adequacy, and effectiveness of the khadi and village industries. It includes year wise analysis of turnover of Khadi and Village Industries Board for the last five years. It presents a comprehensive picture on the performance of the sector along with its contribution in the economic development of Chhattisgarh State. To test the relevant hypotheses and examine various issues, this study relied primarily on the data base generated through a survey of 250 beneficiary households under the Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Board. The data from published sources as well as those from the offices of the implementing agencies were also collected and analyzed. The findings of the study indicates that Chhattisgarh has developed economically as far as beneficieries of khadi and village industries of Chhattiagarh is concerned due to the significant physical performance of the KVI. The result of the study is in accordance with the study of Dollar, Hallward-Driemeier and Mengistae (2005), which indicates that physical performance significantly impact the economic development.
RADAR is an object detection system which uses radio waves to determine the range, altitude, direction, or speed of objects. RADAR systems come in a variety of sizes and have different performance specifications. Some RADAR systems are used for air-traffic control at airports and others are used for long range surveillance and early-warning systems. A RADAR system is the heart of a missile guidance system. Small portable RADAR systems that can be maintained and operated by one person are available as well as systems that occupy several large rooms  .
The investment required in developing RADAR is enormous and for less critical purposes like surveillance in close proximity, automatic parking systems in vehicles, and object detection in small ranges it would unreasonable to spend capital in large amounts. So, this is an attempt to use Ultrasonic Sensor (HC - SR04) to implement the similar working concept as used in RADAR to detect nearby object. Arduino UNO board is sufficed to control ultrasonic sensor and also to interface the sensor and display device.
A Smart Helmet is a good idea which makes motorcycle driving safer than past. In today’s era, many cases of bike accidents can be seen around us. People get injured and one of the reason is not wearing helmet by bikers. Many people can save their life in accident cases if they will wear helmet. Carelessness of the driver is the major factor of such accidents. The traffic authorities give a lot of instructions to the operators. But many of them do not obey that rules. This is implemented using radio frequency 433MHz module. The working of this smart helmet is simple, RF transmitter is placed in helmet and RF receiver is placed in bike, which is connected to microcontroller8051.
In the recent years issue like accidents due to blasting of tire, lack of traffic rules has been observed in most of the countries. As with the advanced technologies almost all the parts of vehicle have been automatic but the tire that are being the cause of most the dangerous accidents due to lack of awareness , so considering the recent issue we have designed a system that inflates the tire automatically, save the time and the man power. Many times due to lack of necessary aids on time the condition on an accident spot it becomes miserable, for this we have provided a GSM & GPS so that information can send to the relatives and nearby hospitals. Our system will be controlled by a micro-controller that acts a brain to detect that the in-balance created in the tire in due to low pressure or puncture. The VMSS also consist of a alcohol detector and a wireless communication in between vehicle-to-driver, vehicle-to-traffic, vehicle-to-speed breaker communication, which is based on zigBee technology.

The objective of this paper is to provide a 2 dimensional coverage using a scanner for an area. The area which is scanned is then mapped onto a virtual 2 dimensional space in the computer which provides users and analysts with unlimited options of performing operations on the structure. This project was uses as autonomous transient rover to scan the enclosure on which it is kept in. This rover moves till it has scanned each corner. Providing such smart functionality in a restricted environment, especially good for resource utilization.

Photovoltaic power generation system implements an effective utilization of solar energy but generally has very low conversion efficiency. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is used in photovoltaic (PV) system to maximize the photovoltaic array output power, irrespective of the temperature and irradiation condition and of the load electrical characteristics. This paper argues that English language learning is one of the most important components of technical education. Present state of world affairs strongly recommends the need for linguistic- efficiency in English. It is not only important as a global language but also as a local language in India.
This paper focuses on the application of touch-less interaction between human and computer using capacitive sensing technique. A computer–based analysis for touch-less 3D controller using capacitive sensing method in is developed. In this project, Arduino UNO is used as a microcontroller to bridge the interface connection between the sensor hardware and the computer. This method uses capacitive based sensor as the main component to sense the gesture movement near it. The capacitive based sensing depends on the duration to charge a capacitor (known as the time constant). By placing an object within the electric field of a capacitor, it will immediately affect the capacitance value and it will correspond to the time constant. In the final analysis, the touch-less hardware will be linked to MATLAB software to study its characteristic and behavior. Using the data obtained from the analysis, a touch-less control from the hardware will control the computer keyboard. To show its additional functionality, a Google Earth program will display the ability of the touch-less interface.
Self-compacting concrete is one of the most revolutionary developments in the field of concrete research. This concrete can be placed and compacted in to every corner of a formwork, purely by means of its self weight thereby eliminating the need of either external energy input from vibrators or any type of compacting effort. There is a current trend in all over the world to utilize the treated and untreated industrial by- products, domestic wastes etc. as raw materials in concrete. These not only help in the reuse of the waste materials but also create a cleaner and greener environment. This study aims to focus on the possibility of using fly ash and silica fume (micro silica) in preparation of self-compacting concrete. The project report deals with the ingredient of these mixtures (silica fume, fly ash, super plasticizer, cement) by examining their specific role in self compacting concrete.
This paper deals with auto braking system used in automobiles to sense an imminent collision with another person ,vehicle or obstacles; or a danger such as high brakes or by applying the brakes to slow the vehicle without any driver input. Sensors to detect other vehicles or obstacles can include radar, video, infrared, ultrasonic or other technologies .GPS sensors can detect fixed dangers such as approaching stop signs through a location database. Automatic braking by the system after sensing an obstacle can be executed in two modes. In collision avoidance, the collision is avoided by the automatic braking, but the driver will not be warned in this type of system. There is a very good chance of wrongly interpreting the signals especially in the case of radar or lasers. So this is not so effective method of automatic braking. In collision mitigation system, the sensors detect the possibility of collision but will not take immediate action. A warning will be sent to the driver in the form of a signal or a voice message. There is a threshold safe distance calculated by the system and if the driver fails to respond even when the vehicle crosses that region, then only brakes will be applied automatically. Even if there is a misinterpretation o signals there is no problem because, the decision to apply brakes is left with the driver and the brakes are applied automatically only in the most emergency situations. In this project our interest is to reduce the speed or stop the vehicles automatically when the ultrasonic sensors sense collision with another person , vehicle or obstacles .
Shear wall systems are one of the most commonly used lateral load resisting in high rise building. Shear wall has high plane stiffness and strength which can be used to simultaneously resist large horizontal loads and support gravity loads. Incorporation of shear walls has become inevitable in multi-storey buildings to resist lateral forces. Hence it is very necessary to determine effective, efficient and ideal location of shear wall. Shear wall arrangement must be absolutely accurate, if not, we will find negative effect instead. In this project, a study will be carried out to determine the optimum structural configuration of a multistory building by changing the shear wall locations radically. Four different cases of shear wall position for G+9 storey building with keeping zero eccentricity between mass center and hardness center will be analyzed and designed as a frame system by computer application software ETABS. The framed structure will be subjected to lateral and gravity loading in accordance with IS provision and the results will then be analyzed to determine the optimum positioning of the Shear wall.
The main purpose of this paper is to generalize the concept of - fuzzy metric space defined by Sedghi and Shobe  and define the notion of modified intuitionistic - fuzzy metric space with the help of continuous t- representable and the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy set. Further we prove some common fixed point theorems for modified intuitionistic - fuzzy metric space.
